Rade Matic Digital Type Foundry is a small scale

type foundry established in 2015 and is focused on

the development of fonts that are both formally and conceptually distinctive. Rade Matic is a designer based in Offenbach am Main, Germany. His work focuses on typography, type and graphic design.


He is teaching typography and communication design at Faculty of Design, University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany, and has founded the design studio Drei meiner Kollegen with Florian Renschke.


Since 2015 we are supporting Dr. Deborah Anderson and the SEI (script encoding initiative), Department of Linguistics, UC Berkley, California, USA.


We offer bespoke type commissions and modifications or extensions of our existing typefaces in close collaborations with agencies or clients.
